Este libro, aparte de recoger las vivencias y los poemas de la autora, productos de una vida esforzada y provechosa, también nos transporta a su tierra natal en donde como profesora de Literatura esculpió en sus alumnos enseñanzas de vida y escribió a su tierra, A su América. La poesía es un bálsamo para el alma, que derrama gotas de cielo sobre las letras, que impregna de perfumes mágicos el viento y que acaricia el espíritu con pasos de una vida.
About the Author: Ana Paz Briz nació en la ciudad de Guayaquil, Ecuador un 26 de abril de 1964. Se graduó de Bachiller en el Colegio Santo Domingo de Guzmán y trabajo toda su vida como profesora de Literatura en varios Colegios del país. Ha publicado varios libros de poesía y relatos cortos como: -Aprendiendo a perdonarme -Voz de América Viva -Tuberculosis en el alma Ha participado varios recitales: -Tercer Recital Poético en la Casa de la Cultura de Guayaquil -Recital por el día de la hispanidad en Ambato, Ecuador -Recital Poético de la Dirección provincial de Cultura de Guayaquil en 1993 -Recital Felipe Carrillo Puerto en Mérida, Yucatán, México. -Recital Celebrando a Don Quijote de la Mancha en Raleigh, Carolina del Norte en 2016.
