But the Comforter, which is The Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26. As you read this book... I want the reader to understand that this is a Prophetic book given by Our Lord Jesus Christ. And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we Henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the Head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:11-16. If a Christian is thirsty for God, or wanting a greater, deeper, walk with Him then there is a free gift given unto the Church of Jesus Christ. It is the comforter in other words the Holy Ghost. There is only one requirement to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Ye must be born again. Jesus answered and said unto Him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3. So without the born again experience a person cannot be given something from the kingdom of God. Least ye become born again by the Spirit of God. The born again experience can be given unto you when Gods Spirit is dealing you with in your heart. This is when the Spirit of God is speaking unto you in your spirit and soul. That you need help, delivered from a life of sin. This is when you have a conviction in your heart and need deliverance. It's as simple as saying Jesus; please forgive me of my sins. Tell Him to help you and to come into you and your life. Now you're praying a prayer of faith. True faith is looking past the ways you feel. Saying Jesus help me, I need you and here I am Lord. If you have Gods Spirit dealing with your heart, if you have prayed this prayer of salvation then you are now a born again believer! You are a Christian! Now you too can be filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is the comforter the free gift given unto the Church of Jesus Christ. The Super Natural Spectacular. Sometimes we can be so busy on our search for the super natural spectacular that we do not recognize the soft whisper of the Holy Ghost as He tries to spiritually lead and guide us. We look for the spectacular to show up and it will not, because He has already come. When we was filled with the baptism in the Holy Ghost that is when the most spectacular has already happened, however many Christians have missed it. God has spoken unto my heart on this very issue. There are many a Christian and even some ministers that miss the soft leading of the Holy Ghost. There are many that miss the soft whispers He gives us that makes Him unable to lead and guide many into the truths of Jesus Christ's teachings. For the children of God to experience Him and taste more of His Spirit.
About the Author: My name is Pastor Luke L. Chapman. I haven't always been a preacher, quite the contrary. When I was a young teenager everyone always said: "Boy what a good kid Luke is. He is a wonderful young man." Because of a stepfather that had no love for me, my clothes were packed for me and placed on the front porch on Christmas morning. Arrangements were already made for a near friend to pick me up to take me to my real dad's home. This became a cycle unto me. I learned soon to take flight in life, realizing I'm on my own. I was kicked out of school for truancy, failure to want to go to school and to learn. This started a foundation for my life, for my ongoing future. My new friends taught me how to smoke, drink, and cuss and to tell lies. I graduated to smoking weed and using cocaine. I never drank or used cocaine on a regular basis. I just started on weekends or invited parties. I got married and had a Child when I was 21 years old. But, with a lifestyle of drinking, spending money in bars and not on bills or in my home, I soon went through a divorce. Does this sound familiar, like today's youths? At this time, now I'm remarried my wife and I are both cocaine addicts. My wife smoked weed? I sold weed and cocaine to supply our habits. My wife left me one day. I was arrested the same day and put in jail. In jail, I bowed my knees on the floor in my cell. I was the only one there that day. I called upon Jesus and was saved and sent to North Central Correctional Institution. I never thought anyone cared. But I was so wrong. What was meant for evil for me, God changed for the good. Prison became My Bible College. Prison was where God counseled me about my morals. God taught me about being a good husband, a good father unto my Children and how a preacher must live and act. I served six and a half years in prison to learn not do use drugs, not to walk through life aimlessly. I learned my lesson. God raised me up to be a preacher in prison. Prison was my lifesaver. Wow, what a statement one might say! The reason prison was my lifeline was I could have graduated to the other side of life... Six Feet Down. I almost did!
