Your Customers will be happy to use this helpful Book!
You can find several ways to manage stress, such as controlling your thoughts, managing your emotions, exercise as a routine or activities as simple as being silly and laughing aloud. Another topic in the book is how meditation can become therapy and a way to recalibrate and understand yourself in times of stress. The book also gives information about how mindfulness, positive affirmations, and positive thinking can assist you in healing and ultimately move forward in life.
Mindfulness is the practice of actually being tuned in to what is happening in the present moment, focusing on sights, sounds, smells, and physical sensations you may ignore at any other time. It is also being able to focus on the present without allowing your mind to drift into the past, and accepting the thoughts and feelings that you are having without having a strong reaction. BEING MINDFUL - PAYING ATTENTION!
One of the first things to do when trying to practice mindfulness is to take a moment, breathe slowly and figure out what emotion you are feeling inside of your body. This will assist you in controlling those thoughts that are not productive or healthy and try to replace them with more positive ones.
The more mindful you become, the more you will be aware of your thoughts, and you should be able to remove yourself from them and evaluate how serious they are. By doing this, it keeps you from automatically becoming stressed out by the situation.
Being mindful keeps you from reacting too quickly to a situation before you have a moment to think and come up with a productive solution. Practicing mindfulness exercises are a great way of strengthening your mindfulness.
The level of your emotional intelligence will be so high now that you will be more in tune with the emotions of others, and you will not have as many conflicts as you used to.
- Breathing - The most basic and simple exercise is mindful breathing, which is just spending a little bit of time to focus on your thoughts and your breath going in and out. Do this without trying to change the way that you are breathing.
- Scanning Your Body - Anytime that you are sitting or lying down, you should take a minute to focus your attention on one body part at a time, starting from the bottom of your feet. Pay attention to any type of physical sensation that you may be having, but do not react or place judgment upon them.
- Meditation - An exercise in which you direct positive thoughts and wishes first to yourself, then to your close family and friends, then to more distant acquaintances, and finally to all humanity. The body and mind will both experience an extreme amount of stability, clarity and peace. Being able to see things clearly and having pure and natural insight into the nature of things, including ourselves, comes naturally during this positive process.
- Movement - While walking or running, pay attention to the way that you are breathing, how your body is moving and what is going on in your surroundings. Practicing mindfulness while doing exercises and focusing on physical sensations, works very well.
