We must begin teaching these tools beginning early on to empower our broken with these critical life-sustaining skills. There are escalating fears, and increasing accounts of those who are lost to bullying, abuse, gangs, trafficking, violence and crimes. The true reality is it's reaching epidemic proportions. Sadly, many parents are incapable of teaching these life-sustaining skills to their children for one reason or another. Some have addictions or mental illnesses, and some are just evil and selfish. For whatever reason, children who are product of these environments are at especially high risk. Turn the news on any given day, statistics show there's more and more disturbing evidence that mental illness is increasingly on the rise. Most recently, highlighting the shooting in a New Orleans theater where innocent people simply going for an evening out, instead...became senseless victim to murders and tragedy at the hands of mental illness. Racial tensions are on the rise reaching fever pitch, our foster children are aging out of systems with no where to go, and with our broken educational, judicial and social systems; evidence indicates that what we have been doing is not working. Every one is raising awareness and constantly searching for solutions. MindCRAFT has connected the dots. There is urgency that we need to create change for a sustainable future and a better world for our children. We must weave these tools into the fabric of our broken systems to create desired change. These tools are practical, cost efficient and easily doable. This practice is universal and can be utilized as prevention or intervention. MindCRAFT is a cutting edge solution for preeminent systemic change. It is critical we reach societies at risk, broken and forgotten children who are vulnerable and susceptible to societies influences. In today's world, my darkest fear is our children susceptible and vulnerable to these influences who are looking for life's basic essentials, a sense of belonging, a family, a place to call home, and simply just to be loved, are at greatest risk of being lured into more highly sophisticated gangs like Isis, and organized crime, only to realize it's a trap, when it's too late. We can empower those who never have lived in environments conducive of learning these critical life sustaining skills. We must embrace the ones who have never known what it really is to be genuinely loved, unconditionally.. we all have the power to change, even if we never have before.
