About the Book

This book is designed for the next generation of road warrior: The Millennial.

THE PASSION OF TRAVEL is not just for tourists, but also for the business traveler who truly loves to see the world.

Yet, business travel is different from personal travel. Your time is not your own. Your company wants you to travel quickly and always be productive, even though you fight rush hour traffic to the airport, stand in long security lines, eat crazy late dinners and are forced to figure out a plan B when your booked hotel is sold out. With the right planning and understanding of on the road encounters, a business trip can be as easy and fun as it is successful. Enjoy dozens of real life travel stories told from the perspective of fellow road warriors, plus a woman's perspective.

Take a few lessons from seasoned travelers and don't make the typical rookie mistakes made by your peers.

Michael Puldy, a seasoned business traveler, leverages his three decades of business travel, covering 3 million air miles, to provide an informative view on the mechanics of traveling for work. Learn how to zip through airport security and rest up at airport lounges; be aware of what to expect when traveling internationally; understand tricks to complete the dreaded expense report; learn the concept of situational awareness; and, many more travel concepts and tips.

Read the entire book in less than half the time than it takes to fly from New York to Los Angeles.

About the Author: Michael Puldy (michael@nextgentraveler.com) is a technology executive, photographer, writer and world traveler. Between travels for business and pleasure, he has visited over forty countries and the continents of Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. A Florida native and resident for almost thirty-five years, Michael left Florida only two times before attending college at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. During his freshman year, Michael experienced the joy of road trips driving throughout the South, the Northeast and the Midwest. He also lived his first college summer near the District of Columbia. The next year, the summer between Michael's sophomore and junior years, he backpacked in the Middle East and North Africa followed by traveling solo in Western Europe and the United Kingdom. These early life adventures fostered his love of travel, meeting people and experiencing different cultures, religions, and customs. Michael has visited all fifty United States, and has lived in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, South Carolina and Singapore. He now resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife Adrienne, and Boomer, their Yorkshire terrier. A member of the Circumnavigators Club, his travel highlights include: trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal, sailing to observe the Komodo Dragons in Indonesia, living on a dive boat exploring the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, backpacking in Denali and Lake Clark National Parks in Alaska, white water rafting down the Colorado River and hiking the Grand Canyon, watching the sunrise in Yosemite near Half Dome, touring the Valley of the Kings and the Step Pyramid in Egypt, becoming engaged at the base of Mount Fitz Roy near El Chalten, Argentina, and meeting the most amazing and incredible people all across the globe. Professionally, Michael has spent his entire career in the technology industry where he has worked in the aerospace, financial, retail and technology sectors. He is also a published author of professional and peer reviewed papers. In addition, he has held three global jobs based in the U.S., and lived two years as an expatriate in Singapore.
