About the Book

Riki Adams, 28 year old single Asian-American lawyer, works in the District Attorney, American lawyer works in the District Attorney's office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our first story opens where Riki is barking orders to a new intern, Penelope, and then she heads out to do personal errands. We see Riki's personality deals with conflicting mood swings as she faces life with mixed passions and emotions. Riki attacks everyone who gets in her way but she'll go out of her way to help the underprivileged and needy. Case in point, Riki walks into her local bank, prepares to make a routine bank deposit but her keen observations tell her that a robbery is about to take place. Riki goes to the ladies room where she transforms herself into a crime fighting super hero. While wearing her super hero outfit, she can deflect bullets with her wrist, ankle and head bracelets and do so much more.
About the Author: My name is Philip Marcu and I'm a screenwriter. I'm writing a superhero story about a flawed, female that we all can identify with. She could be someone's mother, wife, sister or even your next door neighbor. That's the person you would least suspect would be known and loved world wide as MIGHTY MARLOW. Marlow's alter ego is an attorney who works in the DA's office in Albuquerque, New Mexico and I call this half Asian, half American woman, Riki Adams. Marlow's identity is hidden from the public in order to protect her from physical, legal and emotional harm. As a creator and writer of such a story, I always fall in love with my characters. Since I created them I think of them as my children and as flawed as my characters may be, my love for them is so great that I am not ashamed of them and I want to tell the whole world that I love them with all my heart. I'm hoping that the world will also fall in love with Mighty Marlow. Remember, she's not perfect but all I ask of you, the reader, is to love her with all your heart and pray for her safety and success. I've written stories mostly for the big screen and many of my scripts are on my website: www.marelproductions.com Currently, ONLY GREG is in pre production and will be filmed for the American audience in Israel. My company, Marel Productions, Inc. which I serve as president, is a movie production company where I also serve as the company's screenwriter. If you liked my first comic book, Mighty Marlow, please tell your friends about this wonderful and unique book. I've written several comic books so far and continue to write more. Each hand-illsutrated book is very time consuming to complete but the end result will amaze and delight you. So far only the first one is being published. May I say that I dedicate these comics to all those REAL super heroes that were created to make this world a better place in which to live. I'm proud and honored to know some of them for they give their lives to make people happy. My list, albeit short, began with my mother who actually lost her life, years ago, so my brother could live. I was a little boy then. The world has more women like my mother who are having a difficult time serving their purpose on Earth, as hard as it is, but they serve with a smile on their face. Walk up to one of them that you know, kiss her on the cheek and say to her, I LOVE YOU!!! As tears fall down my cheeks, I stand and take off my hat to all of them and say, I LOVE YOU!!!!!
