About the Book

After the fall of the possessed indigo wizard Agzônth, another rises to power within the darkened lands of the lord of darkness and shadow. Yet this goblin's loyalty shall sway away from his master Darcos for grander desires and a Grenelfish family's excursion of exploration leads them down a dangerous mystifying path of hidden treacheries and dangers. After witnessing the rising goblin king's conniving capture of the wizardry Pixy Imps, a Grenelf youth named Lanolee vows to aid two survivors against their foe furthering entangling the Grenelf family within the goblin king's unfolding diabolical intentions.
About the Author: "Born and raised in a suburb of Dallas, my fancy for writing began long ago. Now remembering some of my earlier attempts- mostly sci-fi, I am most pleased that I never released any of that material simply because over the passage of time things changed quite differently than mid eighty perceptions. As an officer of a Texas construction company, my colleagues find it a curiosity that I am author more overly a fantasy author, but fiction of any kind for me has always been a joy to write since the days of high school. From horror to sci-fi, I believe my earlier writings prepared me for what I would eventually write and publish with The Middle Times series, but I remain flabbergasted over finding an undiscovered passion for writing fantasy after I began. There are no boundaries to what a fantasy story line may become yet, even I had no idea what a simple little thought about wizards evolving from a rainbow would become when completed some six years ago. An eight-book feature fantasy story...even I would have thought it an absurdity back when. Considering my bout with melanoma cancer during the course of the writings, nearly 6 years ago, I am most gracious to be a survivor and granted the time to complete the fantasy series. Often I'm asked what the story is like as in Tolkien's work or Rowling's work, but the true influence would be the wonderful writers of the Star Trek series from the 80's onward. With those brilliant emotionally moving storylines involving current topics wrapped in a futuristic viewpoint that made you think deeply about things were rightfully truly exceptional. Therefore, I made it a goal to achieve the same in my Middle Times storyline. Another question I'm often asked is which of the eight stories is my favorite. The final story TYTB, is particularly exceptional for me. Any comparisons to other author's fantasy works become immaterial due to a particular surreal moment that occurs within the story that I shall not mention here. Yet, that surreal moment is the crowning achievement of my writings and truly separates The Middle Times from anything else in fantasy- and for that, I couldn't be more jubilant and humbled. Oh, and the last most often asked question...is there a sequel ninth story? My answer...just look at the subtle hint I left at the end of the final story...why you never know do you?."
