About the Author: Steven George Johnson is a social worker for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Tampa, Florida. He was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio. After graduating from Middletown High School in 1982, he earned his bachelor's degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and eventually earned his master's in social science education at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
After decades working a multitude of jobs before settling in on his career as a social worker, Johnson finally decided to begin writing stories at the age of fifty. Messiah of the Heart, inspired by his many life experiences, is his debut novel.
