men", about their origin, their stay on earth and
their disappearance.

and earth, to manifest this revelation to men everywhere.

the beginning, were eyewitnesses and ministers of the facts.
Also, I found it convenient, after having examined
with veracity from the beginning, write them to you, kind
reader, in an orderly fashion, so you know the precise truth,
about things as they are.

Por cuanto muchos han tratado de hacer una historia
de las cosas que entre nosotros son muy ciertas,
acerca de los hombres de renombre, acerca de su
origen, su estancia en la tierra y su desaparición.
En este tiempo le ha parecido bien, al Creador de los
cielos y la tierra, manifestar esta revelación a los hombres
en todo lugar.
Tal como nos las han enseñado los que, desde el
principio, fueron testigos oculares y ministros de los hechos.
También a mí me ha parecido conveniente, después de
haberlo escudriñado todo con veracidad desde el principio,
escribírtelas ordenadamente, amable lector, para que
conozcas la verdad precisa, acerca de las cosas tal como son.
