About the Author: Katy McDermott is a novelist, freelance copywriter, and writing tutor from the Philadelphia suburbs, where she shares a townhouse with her human and animal family. Except for college, she's always lived and worked in this area, and doesn't think she'd ever want to live anywhere else (although during ice storms in February, she could be tempted!)
