A long, long time ago, on this very planet, man was provided with substantial and credible divinely inspired anecdotal evidence as to the origins of the planet; as well as the origins of all life forms including mankind itself. After tens of centuries of "modernizations," modifications, and translations better suited to support the opinions of those in power; rather than providing clarity, this evidence has not merely been lost, but often transformed into absurdity.
Through painstaking efforts, authors Walker and Quadrakoff have researched this evidence with extensive comparisons of the "modern" terminologies with the correct original terminologies. The result; is a highly documented analysis of precisely what much of this evidence originally was and what it actually means.
The primary purpose of this tome, is the reconciliation of the word of God with science; and to do so in such a manner as to be rendered inarguable by any rational mind. As stated in the Preface: "One must choose between being a "man of science" or a "believer," because they are generally considered to be mutually exclusive. If one agrees that words mean things, then an unbiased fair read of God's Word presents no such paradox. But one must read what God actually said, not merely what one thinks He said, what one was told He said, what one wished He said, or would rather He had said."
Without question, a work capable of success in this endeavor is sorely needed in today's world. It will be left to others to judge what level of accomplishment the authors may have achieved in this regard.
About the Author: JB Walker and Emma Quadrakoff began their collaboration of Bible study many years ago, shortly after they had met. Both had worked part-time in a local supermarket, while attending college. JB worked as essentially a part-time assistant manager, and Emma was a cashier. Another employee had given JB a brand new Bible, which he kept in his locker. Their first conversation about the Bible was JB remarking to Emma that "he was trying to understand it, but that it really did not make very much sense to him." It seems that JB, having a habit of reading magazines from the back to front, had began his Bible studies with the Book of Revelation; not understanding why it was written in such a difficult to understand fashion. Emma then explained to him that Revelation was probably the most difficult book to understand, and perhaps he should try starting at the beginning.
Over the years, they collaborated on many written projects, all of which were very specific writings for private matters. They are largely content oriented writers, being much more concerned with factual information rather than writing style. More likely than not, they might even tend to unknowingly split an infinitive from time to time.
About two years ago, they decided that they were getting tired of people trying to make God look like a fool; by stating how ridiculous His word was; because many of the most significant portions of it could not possibly be true. This is or was generally based upon the scientific refutation of his word; not necessarily by scientists, but based upon science.
So they embarked upon a project to find out exactly what it was that God actually did have to say about these scientific as well as many other "controversial" matters. The result of their efforts comprise MeekRaker, and they sincerely hope that many will determine that they have succeeded.
