Bella's parents started her education a couple of years
before she started school. She began writing in 3rd
grade. Simple poems and stories branched into songs
and music about a year later. Being reared on opera and
German music fostered a lifelong interest in languages and
varied ethnic music. Friends of many faiths and nationalities
broadened both literary and musical interests and output
over the years. A seagull flying over a parking lot sparked
a series of stories about a friendship between a dog and a
bird. Taking a break from music and writing, Bella dove
into silversmithing and other forms of jewelry making, but
the death of a dear friend restarted poetry and composing.
She now lives in southern Nevada, writing poetry, songs,
and stories about whatever piques her creativity. Bella has
a BA in German, almost a degree in Music Therapy (needing to
work interened), and, most recently, a Master's degree in Special
Education, Mild to Moderate Disabilities.
