Ratgeber zur konkreten Gestaltung von praxisrelevanten Bildungsangeboten zur Medienkompetenzförderung Älterer sind besonders rar. Diese Forschungslücke wird im Rahmen der Bachelorarbeit aufgegriffen: Generation 50plus wird hier als eine Top-Zielgruppe für pädagogische Bemühungen hinsichtlich kompetenten Medienumgangs in den Fokus gestellt. Die Arbeit untersucht vor allem, warum Medienbildung und insbesondere Medienkompetenzförderung in der zweiten Lebenshälfte bedeutend ist; welche zielgruppenspezifischen Besonderheiten bei der Gestaltung von Lernarrangements für die Generation 50plus zu berücksichtigen sind und wie optimale Bildungsangebote zur Förderung eines kompetenten Umgangs mit neuen Medien aussehen könnten.
