Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: n/a, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Thema Mediation gewinnt in Deutschland an Intensität, zunächst im familiären Umfeld beispielsweise als Familien- oder Scheidungsmediation. Vermehrt wird das lösungsorientierte Verfahren auch im unternehmerischen Kontext eingesetzt bei Konflikten in Unternehmen, aber auch zwischen Unternehmen. Dazu kommt, dass sich parallel zu dieser Tendenz neue Medien zur Kommunikation entwickeln. Diese können ihrerseits in der Mediation eingesetzt werden, andererseits jedoch selbst Ursache für Konflikte sein. Gerade neue Medien, die die Grundlage für eine ganz neue Art von Geschäftsmöglichkeiten darstellen, bieten vielfältige Möglichkeiten der Konfliktentstehung. Neue Medien in diesem Zusammenhang sind nicht nur E-Shopping, die Kommentierung von Blogeinträgen und Teilnahme an Diskussionen in Onlineforen. Durch Web 2.0 Anwendungen können Urheberrechte - unbewusst und ungewollt - verletzt werden. Ebenso können Fragen nach Haftung und Garantie rasch in eine rechtliche Grauzone abgleiten, wenn man an Crowd-Sourcing-Projekte oder Open-Source-Innovation denkt, deren Ergebnisse in reale Produkte umgesetzt werden sollen. Hier stellt sich die Frage, ob Online-Mediation in diesen Fällen zwischen Unternehmen oder zwischen Kunden und Unternehmen im Web 2.0-Umfeld genutzt werden kann. Zumal auch in der Tool-Landschaft in Bezug auf Zusammenarbeit über große Distanzen viel Bewegung herrscht. Gerade in international aktiven Unternehmen spielen - in der momentanen wirtschaftlichen Situation besonders - Faktoren zur Kostenreduzierung eine große Rolle: Reisekosten und Spesen machen einen großen Posten aus. Online-Mediation kann dazu beitragen, diesen Kostenfaktor zumindest zu reduzieren.
