Why do media matter to philosophy and ethics? This is the main contention of this doctoral dissertation. It will explore and examine the ethical relevance of media from different perspectives. Indeed, there is no question of doubt that media over the course of history and more importantly with the blessing of science and technology has developed a lot. In fact, the role of media was very much prominent and present in the past. However, it was not as much as pronounced as it is at present with the bliss of technology. Thus, in a nutshell, media as a whole is related to every other human life. It addresses issues like politics, economics, social activities, heath care, food habits, clothing and what not. It opens up everything before us what is going around. In short, the present generation is the slave of media. It thus seems to us that the plural noun 'media' refers to the internet would be treated as an unremarkable common place in today's environment. Nobody can deny it. It requires a huge transformation of the mind-set of the people. People who were already habituated in preinternet time cannot survive at present day environment without setting the exposure of internet.
