About the Book

God does not want HIS people to be confused.

So stop guessing and learn the Scriptures confidently.

When I began my journey into the ministry, I thought I had a fairly good grasp on what the Bible said and meant. After all, I had been a Christian for over 25 years and had learned so much that I was confident about what I knew. Now I'm not saying I had to start over but God did give me a serious wake up call about what I didn't know.

He taught me, built me up, and then sent me out. After going to dozens of Churches, speaking one-on-one with Christians and Ministers, I discovered that many have little positive grounding in the Bible. They tend to say, "I think that's what it means." It was then that I recognized that people didn't want to be confused, nor did they want some obscure reference, they wanted substantial Scripture so they could understand.

Divorce can be a very complicated subject. Does God give you the right to divorce in your particular situation? What happens when God says you can divorce? How do you treat a divorced person? Is it OK to keep, accept or ordain a Deacon who has divorced? Will God ordain into the ministry/clergy a divorced man? In Master Theologian, you will find Scripture that God gives us to wade through the complicated issues of divorce putting you on solid ground in this subject.

God does not want HIS people to be confused. So stop guessing and learn the Scriptures confidently. Find out what God says about divorce. What role can a divorced person play in the Church? Can a divorced person serve as a deacon or even clergy? The Scriptures do address these and other questions concerning divorce. Begin your journey to truth. Cross the bridge and find freedom in the Truth of the Scriptures.

The only way to find "The Truth" is to research the Whole Bible not just a few verses. Consider the Gospels that individually give us a story of Christ but all four Gospels give us a complete picture of Jesus. The Gospels picture is further expanded throughout the Old Testament where Christ's birth, suffering, and death were recorded through prophecy.

Whether you are a minister, lay minister, or Church member, you will want this for your own library. Unlike other writings, Master Theologian walks you through the various books of the Scriptures throughout the Bible to give you the assurance you need to cross that bridge from guessing to confidence.

Throughout man's existence, God has sent men to guide people and put them back in touch with God. Some remind people that God is real and of HIS love. Others remind people what the Scriptures say. The latter is my calling. To build a bridge, concerning the Truth of the Scriptures and the people of God.

This book is the first in a series of books that cover a variety of subjects that have been dear to my heart and which I have been researching throughout the years. Future book subjects planned include the Unpardonable Sin, a Minister's Manual, a Cataclysm, Evangelism vs. Witnessing and others.

May God's Spirit guide you to the Truth of the Scriptures, Rev. Paul A. Mott.
