About the Book

There's A New Name In Horror! Mary Horowitz is an average high school senior who just moved from Salem, Massachusetts to a small, slightly corrupt New Jersey town. Her life has not been going according to plan lately. Her grandmother recently passed away, her best friend Kelly has been missing for two weeks, her parents don't get along, and on the eve of the homecoming dance, she finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her. Distraught, Mary goes home after the homecoming football game to witness her family being brutally murdered. Being the only survivor and witness, Mary is sent to a local psychiatric hospital by the town mayor and sheriff for 'protection'. Two years pass and Mary comes to realize that what happened that night wasn't what she thought. As the plot unravels, so does Mary. Her time locked away has changed her into something evil. She has become a member of the walking dead, taking revenge on the town and everyone that wronged her. Follow the life of Mary Horowitz as she becomes Mary Horror! A tale of bloody horror and revenge penned by Nick Kisella, author of 'Morningstars' and 'The Beasts and the Walking Dead, and based on the screenplay by Ryan Scott Weber. Check out Nick Kisella's other horror novels at ncikkisella.com
About the Author: Nick Kisella grew up in Manville, New Jersey, where he began writing fantasy and horror while attending high school. Some of his first published work appeared in the Indie magazines 'Dreadknight', and 'The Nocturnal Lyric'. Since then his work has appeared in various forms from print and online magazines to blogs. His first fantasy novel, 'The Emerald and the Blade' came out in 1989 by a long defunct publisher, with 'The Chalice of Souls' soon to follow. Some of his more recent work includes a screenplay and novelization for 'Nifty Entertainment' a California based Indie production company, as well as getting the first two fantasy novels he wrote as a teen, 'The Chalice of Souls' and 'Death and the Doomweaver' back in print for the sheer nostalgia of it. 'Morningstars', his first full-length horror novel was published by Black Bed Sheet Books in 2012. 'The Beasts and the Walking Dead' a post-apocalyptic fiction novel, has also been published by Black Bed Sheet Books and is the first part of a series. He wrote the novelization to the James Balsamo film, 'I Spill Your Guts', and recently finished penning the novelization for the Ryan Scott Weber film, 'Mary Horror'. Always having an eventful life, he writes when time allows, usually after dark. A fitness enthusiast, he has been a certified fitness instructor involved in the industry for twenty years, and continues to stay in shape and train individuals while well into his 40s. Nick resides in rural Northwestern New Jersey with his wife and twins. Check out his website - nickkisella.com for news, and other novels and products.
