Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Theologie - Sonstiges, Note: 1,5, Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit dieser Frage soll sich diese Arbeit beschäftigen: Wie wurde aus dem jungen Mönch und Professor der lautstarke Kritiker der Ablasspraxis und welche Gründe für diese Entwicklung lagen bereits in seiner Jugendzeit? Weiter wird hierzu der Frage nachgegangen, welche Mängel Martin Luther überhaupt am Ablasshandel sah, die ihn dazu bewegten, seine 95 Thesen zu verfassen. Zu Beginn der Arbeit werden die biografischen Aspekte von Luthers Leben beleuchtet. Dabei werde ich mich zunächst mit Luthers Kindheit auseinandersetzen, um dann gleichsam auf seine Jugend- sowie Studienzeit einzugehen. Weiter wird von Luthers Gewittererlebnis berichtet, woran sich Luthers Weg ins Kloster anschließt. Abgeschlossen wird der biografische Überblick Luthers mit seinem Studium der Theologie und der sich daran anknüpfenden Professur in Wittenberg. Im nächsten Abschnitt soll zuerst einmal geklärt werden, was der Ablasshandel überhaupt ist, wobei die Ablasspraxis des Albrecht von Brandenburg näher erläutert wird. Zudem beschäftigt sich der Abschnitt mit der eingehenden Frage, wie Luther auf den Ablasshandel in seinem Gebiet allgemein und damit auch auf die Person Tetzel aufmerksam wurde. Abgeschlossen wird mit der Frage, welche Mängel Luther an der Ablasspraxis sah und wie er schließlich in Form seiner 95 Thesen Kritik an dieser bewährten Kirchenpraxis übte. Im Schlussteil werde ich die Erkenntnisse im Rahmen meiner eigenen Stellungnahme aufgreifen, indem ich die Frage kläre, worin die genauen Ursachen lagen, dass sich ausgerechnet Martin Luther zu jenem Kirchenkritiker entwickelte und was ihn zur Abfassung seiner 95 Thesen bewegte.
