Bei der Vorlesung uber Grundbegriffe der aristotelischen Philosophie handelt es sich um die zweite Marburger Vorlesung Martin Heideggers, die er im Sommersemester 1924 vierstundig hielt. Nicht nur die Tatsache, dass Heidegger um 7 Uhr in der Fruhe las, bedeutete damals eine unerhorte Provokation fur den des Nachts seine Schuler um sich sammelnden Marburger Kollegen Nicolai Hartmann, sondern vor allem die gegen die neukantianische Fixierung auf erkenntnistheoretische Fragestellungen und diesseits aller neothomistischen Aneignung ernstgenommene ontologische Forschung des Aristoteles. Auf der Grundlage seiner seit 1922 im Hinblick auf ein Buchprojekt neu intensivierten und stets eng am griechischen Original erfolgenden Lekture der aristotelischen Metaphysik, Physik, Nikomachischen Ethik, Politik, Rhetorik sowie der Schriften De anima und De partibus animalium unternimmt es Heidegger, eine beachtliche Anzahl der darin gebrauchten Grundbegriffe zur Auslegung zu bringen, so insbesondere die Begriffe logos, ousia, agathon, teleion, doxa, ethos, pathos, hexis, phobos, entelecheia, energeia, steresis, dynamis und kinesis. So sehr Heidegger sich dabei einerseits von der inneren Dynamik der Texte leiten und das heisst: von einem Begriff zum nachsten fortreissen lasst, so macht sich doch andererseits ein systematischer Impetus bemerkbar, der den Gang der Vorlesung zu einem klar erkennbaren hermeneutischen Doppelschritt fugt: In der Orientierung an aristotelischen Grundbegriffen wird das menschliche Dasein im Sinne des miteinandersprechenden In-der-Welt-Seins als des Bodens fur alle Begrifflichkeit herausgestellt, um dann von diesem Boden aus den Begriff der kinesis als radikales Ergreifen der Ausgelegtheit des Daseins zu interpretieren. Was sich hierin ankundigt, ist nichts anderes als die fundamentalontologische Analytik des Daseins, wie sie zu jener Zeit im Denken Heideggers Gestalt annimmt und drei Jahre spater in Sein und Zeit der weiteren Offentlichkeit vorgestellt werden wird.
