About the Author: The author Michael C Marshall was born and raised in queens New York and lived briefly in the Bronx. Growing up in queens wasn't an easy life you had to be street smart at an early age, in his neighborhood you either became a criminal or you chose to walk the straight and narrow which was hard to do when you're surrounded by drug dealers, prostitutes and an assortment of felons. having a law enforcement family helped him to stay on the path of righteousness, a uncle that was a New York City police detective, a cousin a New York City police sergeant, another cousin that was a New York City patrol man. That and also studying martial arts in the Korean style of Tang-Soo-Do under the United Tang-Soo-Do federation taught to him by 9th degree black belt Master Lawrence J Clark. With that he became an E.M.T. and worked for New York City emergency medical service before becoming a New York City Transit Police Officer. Moving on to Pennsylvania and becoming a Pennsylvania state corrections officer and as you know..... The rest is history.
