Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: Der in den vergangenen Jahren vorhergesagte E-Learning Boom hat sich nicht bewahrheitet. Trotz allem ist der Hochschulbereich neben dem Business-Sektor der Bildungsbereich, in dem E-Learning-Szenarien in Deutschland und international am aktivsten praktiziert, untersucht und diskutiert wird. Daneben gibt es vor allem in den USA virtuelle High Schools wie z. B. die University of Miami Online High School (UMOHS). Diese bietet professionellen Sportlern die Flexibilität, sich auch auf das College vorzubereiten. Unter den 400 eingeschriebenen Schülern befinden sich hier 65% Athleten. Wenngleich die Diskussion über Online High Schools in den USA unterschiedlich geführt wird, so ist die UMOHS die erste Online-Schule, die als Mitglied in die „National Honor Society" aufgenommen wurde. Dieses Beispiel zeigt, wie unterschiedlich die Möglichkeiten des E-Learnings als Chance begriffen und angenommen werden und sich auch auf die schulische Bildung auswirken. Die zentrale Frage, die in dieser Arbeit jedoch behandelt wird ist die, welche sinnvolle Möglichkeiten es gibt, eine Marketingstrategie für den Betrieb bzw. die Zusammenarbeit mittels eines Interportals zwischen polnischen Hochschulen und dem Weiterbildungsstudiengang in Kassel umzusetzen. Die Ergebnisse, die hier gewonnen werden, sollen der Studienleitung in Kassel die Möglichkeit geben, abzuwägen, welche Maßnahmen am besten geeignet wären, bzw. ob ein Maßnahmen-Mix in Frage käme, um den gewünschten Effekt der Weitergabe von KnowHow zu entsprechen. Das Ergebnis kann nach leichten Anpassungen aber auch auf andere osteuropäische EU-Staaten transformiert werden. Der Grund, weshalb sich in dieser Arbeit vorwiegend auf den polnischen Markt konzentriert wird, liegt zum einen an der räumlichen Nähe des Landes zur Bundesrepublik Deutschland, vor allem aber daran, dass Polen das einwohnerreichste Land der neuen Mitgliedsländer der Europäischen Union (EU) ist und die Universität Kassel bereits ausgezeich
