Le marketing numérique est un marketing qui utilise différentes plateformes de marketing numérique telles que le marketing par moteur de recherche, le marketing de contenu, le marketing des médias sociaux et ainsi de suite afin de promouvoir des produits ou des services. Le marketing numérique est un domaine d'étude relativement nouveau au Népal. Il s'agit d'une étude basée sur une enquête. Une enquête a été menée dans la vallée de Katmandou pour déterminer l'impact des différentes variables utilisées dans la recherche (marketing par moteur de recherche, marketing de contenu, marketing des médias sociaux et marketing par courriel) sur le comportement d'achat des consommateurs. Il a été constaté que le marketing par moteur de recherche, le marketing des médias sociaux et le marketing d'affiliation ont des relations significatives et positives avec le comportement d'achat des consommateurs. De même, le marketing de contenu et le marketing par e-mail ont une relation moindre avec le comportement d'achat des consommateurs.
