Vor einigen Jahren erkannte man noch problemlos das gefälschte Produkt vom Originalprodukt. Heutzutage ist es selbst für Spezialisten schwer zu erkennen, ob es sich um eine Fälschung oder eine Originalmarke handelt. Marken gewinnen also im Wirtschaftsverkehr an immer größerer Bedeutung. Sie sichern den Ruf des Unternehmens, schaffen Vertrauen in die Produkte und Dienstleistungen und bieten wirksamen Schutz im Wettbewerb, insbesondere gegen Markenpiraterie. About the Author: Jana Fischer wurde 1979 in Mönchengladbach geboren. Nach der schulischen Ausbildung als Fremdsprachensekretärin und einem Jahr Praxiseinsatz als Fremdsprachensekretärin in einer großen internationalen Anwaltskanzlei entschied sich die Autorin durch ein nebenberufliches Studium im Bereich BWL und Wirtschaftsrecht weitere Einblicke in die juristische und wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fachwelt zu gewinnen. Das Verbundstudium BWL mit Wirtschaftsrecht schloss sie im Jahr 2007 als Diplom-Kauffrau (FH) mit Schwerpunkt Wirtschaftsrecht erfolgreich ab. Während des Studiums entwickelte sie ein besonderes Interesse am Thema "gewerblicher Rechtschutz "und vor allen Dingen am Thema "Markenschutz und Markenpiraterie".
