About the Book

The author has been called the American Tolstoy. This is some of his life in Washington DC, Honduras, Latin America, and Houston. He wrote "Stock Markets of Latin America, 1965", a proposal for a Latin American Wall Street Journal", seven encyclopedia articles, "The GDP per Worker by Economic Sector for Honduras, 1965," "A Chemical Industry from Waste in Lumbering and Charcoal Industry," and the idea of creating a Parana-Paraguay River Basin Development Commission. James is the author who meets Zenora Khan from San Fernando, Trinidad worked with the Trinidad Embassy and typed up James's articles on development in Latin America and James took them to the World Bank, Inter-American Bank, AID, and Congress. Zenora became pregnant and came down with leukemia and bore a healthy baby girl, Khairan. After Zenora passed on James took a job with Transportation Consultants International to do the economic feasibility study for the Cenral Highway of Honduras which doesn't exit. James has two assistants who help him with compiling date on GDP per Department (State) and GDP per worker by economic activity and from a soils map of the valleys of the highway he produces the future tonnage from agriculture and lumbering that units northern and Eastern Honduras to the center of Honduras. Donovan the project manager and Bellows, the surveyor drink together every night and Bellows made a huge mistake in using a tellurometer that puts the whole alignment off, and Donovan wants James to say "the highway is not economically feasible to build." But James says without the highway, Honduras will be in a difficult situation so Donovan says James is not capable of doing the job and TCI hires the son of an AID official to say the highway is not feasible. James goes back to Honduras to look over a hill Bellows said was impossible to begin the highway and found Bellows lied. James shows Chico Fernandez who OK'd two contract re-writes raising the cost to Honduras to climb the hill which is only a narrow ridge that the new entrance can continue on around the city open up more land for housing and industrial development. He points out a 10 or 12 mile railroad tunnel through the mountains would enter the Choluteca Valley and connect Tegucigalpa to the other Central American Capitals and a railroad from Colon in the north to Talanga and south to the Pacific Ocean that would create a demand for a small steel mill already proposed by the Central American Market and use waster lumber to make charcoal. But the Pentagon says it will build a huge naval base in Colon as Honduras is key to the Pentagon, CIA, and State Department policy is supporting military governments to fight Communism resulting massacres in El Salvador and Sandinistas taking over in Nicaragua. Fidel Castro had promised not export Communism with in negotiations JFK when he got the Russians to remove the missiles and atomic warheads from Cuba in 1962. The Mossad comes on to James and he learns the Jews fleeing the Inquisition of Spain after 1492 came into the Colonies of Spain and Portugal and remained secretly in Latin America for five hundred years with two million European Jews after 1933. Mossad operative begins tracking James and after James locates a clandestine drug air strip offers him any job in the world he wants if joins a powerful secret society. But when James does not accept the operative tries to put James in a tight corner. The situation in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala deteriorates and James decides to go to Houston for a job and winds up teaching the children whose parents are fleeing the massacres, murders, and wars. The children are virtually without schooling so he devises teaching tools that give them three years in one year of math, English, history, geography, and Spanish. But the Mossad operative follows him to Houston. The book is a must for those in political science, drug trafficking, and anti-social personality disorders
