About the Book

Social evolution is a continuation of biological evolution. It comes into being with the emergence of reason or consciousness. Hence, the development of society is determined by two factors - human reason and objective laws. Human reason creates knowledge that changes society. At a certain stage of development as a result of social laws, society undergoes qualitative changes, moving to a higher stage in its development, i.e. it manifests itself as a self-organizing system like any other living organism. Thus, several historical epochs were formed. In the spiritual realm they are defined as polytheism, monotheism, and secular society; in the material realm - as the Ancient World, feudalism, and capitalism. This form of self-organization is defined as a civilizational shift because it replaces the old system and the ruling elite and creates a new civilization. The bilateral mechanism determines the fundamental difference between geopolitics and civilizational shift. Geopolitics is a product of the subjective factor; the civilization shift - of social laws.

Today, the clash between East and West is a civilizational shift or a process of self-organization, which inevitably leads to a new society and governing mechanism or will destruct itself. Civilizational shift determines the outcome, geopolitics - the price, which humanity has to pay for ignorance, greed, selfishness, and hypocrisy of the ruling elite. The problem is that global elites do not understand the dialectic between objective and subjective factors in development. People can make History but cannot change the Course of Social Evolution. Politicians believe that this is a battle for a unipolar or multipolar world. Both models are unsustainable, transient, and led to self-destruction.

The unipolar model contradicts the laws of nature; the multipolar model leads to confrontation, arms race, and inevitable clash with lethal consequences. The cardinal problem today is the financial system based on fiat money. This system manipulates the economy and society extremely well but creates corruption, polarization, chaos, and global & existential problems. The essence of civilizational shift is replacing this destructive system with a new more efficient and sustainable one.

If humanity survives, after the devastating destruction and losses, society will be organized by objective laws. This is a model resembling an ecosystem, self-governed by a mechanism simulating the cognitive functions of the human brain. This new society can be defined as "collaborative".
