Sreenivasan after obtaining his Master`s degree in Statistics from the University of Mysore, joined SQC and OR Division of Indian Statistical Institute in 1956. He was extensively involved in consulting work related to Management of Quality in a large number of industrial as well as service organizations like hospital, transport. In 1975, he joined M/s IDL Chemicals Ltd. His book on Management of Safety: Concepts and Tasks published in 1984 has very well been received and had an extremely favorable review from several national and international journals. Managing Innovation: Concepts and Tasks co-authored with V. Narayana, has been published recently by Concept Publishers. He is a founder member of Indian Association for Quality and Reliability and an active member of Quality Circle Forum of India, Hyderabad Chapter. V. Narayana, after his obtaining Masters Degree in Statistics from the University of Mysore, joined SQC and OR Division of Indian Statistical Institute in 1956. He was expressively involved in consulting and training work related to Management of Quality in a large number of enterprises-industrial as well as service organisations. V. Narayana is the builder of the Indian Statistical Institutes Centre at Hyderabad serving Andhra Pradesh. He is the Secretary of the Indian Association for Quality and Reliability for over two decades. Right from the inception, V. Narayana has been with Quality Circle Forum of India and is largely responsible for its growth to its present stature. He serves on the Governing Council of its National Body. He is also associated with Engineering Staff College of India as an adjunct Professor.
