About the AuthorCHARLES M. VANCE, Ph.D. (Instructional Technology), is a professor of management and human resources at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He has considerable experience as a consultant in training and curriculum development and broader human resource development applications for many corporation and non-profit organizations in Asia, North and South America, and Europe|YONGSUN PAIK, Ph.D. (International Business), is a professor of international business and management in the College of Business Administration, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California. He served as country economist at the Export-Import Bank of Korea between 1979 and 1984. His primary research interests are international human resource management, global strategic alliances, and Asian Pacific business studies.
