About the Book

Many have wondered what is our place in the universe. We often question: "Are there others like us? Do they share our values?" Sometimes it is wiser if questions like these remain unanswered as all is not well within the Galaxy. For more than a hundred years, Injustice has haunted the Milky Way. This injustice seeks vengeance at every opportunity. It creeps slowly in the form of a beast of many bodies that take without asking, that harbours no conscience nor fear. A century ago a despicable crime of immense gravity took place on a distant world that now lies silently dead. It was a crime that created a race of psychotic murderous beings. Across the Galaxy, the effects of that misdemeanour have long since echoed through the vastness of space. The victims of that crime are the worlds that lay within the grasp of the beast. Now the beast is on the move, to pillage and destroy at will. Two worlds are within the sights of this threat, and if not assisted will soon fall prey to its destructive power. A single ray of hope lies on a frozen world in the form of a tablet inscribed with hieroglyphics. It tells of a once proud warrior race destined to become one with nature. A race that will bring about harmony and put an end to all hostilities. The two worlds of Mylin and Touscal feared that this race may be next to suffer at the hand of the beast. The Mylin felt that above all this race of beings must survive and felt the need to help the people of this world by giving them the tools to build an Ark. They could only hope the Ark would enable a few beings to escape their home world while there was still time. Mylin agents had visited the planet on several occasions over many years and believed the prophecy to be true. A passive single female would be chosen to oversee the construction of the Ark. This person would be enhanced both physically and mentally. The Mylin were uncertain of how the enhancements would affect the female, but nevertheless, they were willing to go ahead regardless of the consequences. However within the Touscal hierarchy, a secret sect called the Omicron order had also observed this world for many years and felt driven to ensure that the female would choose to fight. With that being the case, the order knew that her adversary would give no quarter nor spare a soul. In order to level the playing field the Omicron order had tampered with the mental enhancement program in order to prepare her for an interplanetary war like no other. The name of the chosen one was Sophie Schultz, the name of the prize was the planet Earth and the name of the beast she would have to face in combat to win that prize were the Breeche. A science fiction adventure brimming with action, humour and humanity.
