Mit dem Aufbruch des Internets und den vielfältigen Möglichkeiten, die sich daraus ergeben, kann man nun Unternehmen, Dienstleistungen oder auch Personen umfangreich und vor allem öffentlich bewerten. In nahezu jeder mobilen App, aber auch auf fast jeder Internetseite wird man dazu aufgefordert, eine Bewertung zu hinterlegen. Mit dieser neuen Bewertungskultur sind verschiedene Auswirkungen verbunden: es gibt sowohl positive als auch negative Folgen für die Gesellschaft. Vor allem aber finden durch Bewertungen verschiedene Veränderungsprozesse statt. Eine bedeutende Veränderung betrifft das Beziehungsgeflecht von Arbeitgebern und Arbeitnehmern. Durch digitale Bewertungen - beispielsweise auf der Internetseite glassdoor.com - sind Arbeitgeber nun der Kritik von Arbeitnehmern aus- gesetzt. Das war in dieser Form vor der Etablierung des Internets wohl kaum vorstellbar. Daher stellt sich nun die Frage, welche Machtverschiebung bei den Arbeitgebern und Arbeitnehmern durch die Möglichkeiten des digitalen Bewertens in den letzten Jahren stattgefunden hat. Um diese Frage analysieren zu können, werden zunächst einmal der Auf- bau und die Funktion der Internetseite glassdoor.com vorgestellt. Darauf aufbauend widmet sich der zweite Teil dieser Arbeit dem Beziehungsgeflecht vor der Zeit digitaler Bewertungen. Anschließend werden verschiedene Veränderungen genannt, die seit der Etablierung des Internets und den Möglichkeiten digitaler Bewertungen in Erscheinung getreten sind. Hierdurch kann festgestellt werden, welche Machtverschiebung in den letzten Jahren auf der Ebene der Arbeitgeber bzw. -nehmer stattgefunden hat.
