(vgl. Fokus 2006) Kaum absehbar sind die Folgen des Wachstums für die Entwicklung der Meinungs- und Informationsfreiheit. Diese Arbeit untersucht, welche Rechtslage und Rechtsauffassung der Internetzensur in China zugrunde liegen; andererseits, welche Methoden zur Kontrolle oder zur Umgehung der Kontrollen vorhanden sind. Die zunehmende Popularität des Weblogs in China wird aus verschiedenen Perspektiven betrachtet und erklärt. Im Netz der Volksrepublik China entwickelt sich neben den offiziellen Diskursen von Staatsmedien und konservativen volkstümlicher Schriften eine Vielfalt von mehr oder weniger nonkonformistischen Meinungen. Han Han, rückt immer wieder in den Brennpunkt der öffentlichen Diskussion in der VR China. Er gehört zu der so genannten "Nach-80er-Generation" Autoren, die rund um 30 Jahre alt und dennoch berühmt sind. Der Blog von Han Han aus Chinas einflussreichem Onlineportal Sina.com zählt seit seiner Eröffnung im Jahr 2006 mehr als 480 Millionen Seitenaufrufe. Als Untersuchungsgegenstand nehme ich deswegen von 2008 bis 2011 chronologisch ausgewählte Einträge von seinem Weblog, weil solche Einträge eine Entwicklung der Ausdrucksform präsentieren und diese den tiefgreifenden gesellschaftlichen Wandel widerspiegeln. Obwohl er keine direkten Appelle an den sozialen Reformwillen ihrer Leser richtet, nimmt er eine rebellische Haltung ein. Er verspottet die Missstände der Regierungund Parteimitglieder und kommentiert die neusten Ereignisse im gesellschaftlichen und politischen Leben Chinas. Zuweilen umging er die Zensur, indem er die betroffenen Themen nicht immer konkret anspricht, sondern literarische Ausdrucksmittel und Textformen zur Anwendung bringt, die seinen kritischen Zweck
