Nick Bland always told family and friends he was going to be a cartoonist and a writer, and he began his career in children's literature to bring those two loves together. He is the author and illustrator of Gros Ours grincheux, Gros Ours et Petite Puce, Gros Ours affam?, and many other popular picture books. Nick lives in Darwin, Australia.
