Are you tired of throwing away your clothes after just
a few washes?
With its devastating environmental impact and its involvement in exploitative labor practices, today's fast fashion has a lot to answer for.
Now that consumers are becoming more and more aware of these issues, it's clear that the fashion industry needs to make radical changes to its production system.
But what is the way forward?
As a successful international fashion designer,
Dovile Riebschlager has had the privilege of seeing
the fashion world from a variety of vantage points.
In this book, she unveils the unglamorous side of the fashion industry and reminds us that as consumers we hold a great power - by choosing where and how we shop, we can show our support for brands and designers that produce luxury clothes while respecting their workers and our environment.
Her insights will help you:
Stop buying poorly made clothing that gets tossed after a few wears.
-Understand the benefits of owning high-quality, luxurious clothes that will last you a lifetime.
-Save money in the long run.
-Implement effective tips to change your buying habits and wardrobe for the good of the planet and humanity.

She has made her mark in the fashion industry with her trademark shows and the DoviArt Fashion line, which offers an elegant combination of art and high fashion. Her unique and highly creative collection, characterized by artistic rebellion, reflects the design skills she's acquired through her studies in textile chemical engineering and fine art in textiles.
Dovile develops one-of-a-kind couture designs that cater to her clients' specific needs and desires. She listens intently to their requirements and works with them in order to create something unique and unforgettable.
The world as we know it has changed dramatically in the past few years and we are moving into an era where fashion can retain its luxurious, glamorous status, while also being ethical and sustainable. The whole industry needs to be reconfigured and adapted to our new world, switching to a different way of creating luxury fashion, in which the betterment of society is rewarded alongside luxury and sustainability.
That's why, now more than ever, the fashion industry needs agents of change - from the buyer all the way to the designer and the manufacturer. Shaping the future of fashion is a collective effort that involves all of us.
With this book I want to show what each of you can do to be an agent of real change. As a consumer, you can modify your buying habits and choose quality over quantity. If you're a seasoned or novice designer, instead, the key question is how to select better-quality fabrics and implement ethical production processes in the future.
It's my hope that by the time you've finished reading this book, you will have a clear map of the actions you can take right away. The new fashion era is here and I hope you are ready to dive in!
