About the Author: Isabel del Río, escritora nacida en Barcelona en 1983. Se licenció en Filosofía por la UAB y trabaja como redactora, documentalista, lectora, correctora y un largo etc. para editoriales -como Castellnou, Ed62 y La Galera-, agencias -como Sandra Bruna-, medios de comunicación -como la revista Integral- y otros escritores -como Francesc Miralles y Àlex Rovira-. Su primera novela, Casa de Títeres, fue publicada en abril de 2008 con una gran acogida, y en julio de aquel mismo año fue publicada la segunda edición. La desaparición de la editorial hizo que los ejemplares sean muy difíciles de encontrar. En 2010 con La Galera y en 2012 con Otros Mundos publicó la bilogía de La Casa del Torreón -que podemos encontrar desde 2014 como bilogía en ebook-, historia dirigida al público juvenil-adulto. Obra ilustrada por Oriol Malet y Cristina Barros, que camina entre la ficción y el terror, y ha recibido críticas muy positivas por el mundo editorial, la crítica literaria y los blogueros. En Sant Jordi de 2013 dirigió y publicó con Otros Mundos 20 Relatos del Fin del Mundo, antología de relatos apocalípticos -en castellano y catalán- que cuenta con autores como Rocío Carmona, Teresa Roig, Javi Araguz, Susana Vallejo y Francesc Miralles, y con un prólogo de Jordi Sierra i Fabra. Un título con conciencia social y corazón, puesto que los beneficios son repartidos entre Médicos sin Fronteras y proyectos culturales. En mayo de ese mismo año llegó a las librerías su último trabajo, 100 Cosas que hacer en Barcelona al menos una vez en la vida -en catalán y castellano- con las editoriales Cossetania y Lectio. Una guía de la ciutat comtal que se sale de lo común, dirigida tanto a aquellos que viven en Barcelona, como a quienes quieran visitarla (100cosasquehacerenbarcelona.blogspot.com). Anteriormente publicó en compilaciones y poemarios, así como Astrid, la historia de una niña que crece día a día en la red. Actualmente continúa con sus colaboraciones y da los últimos retoques a sus nuevos proyectos literarios. Además, Isabel es terapeuta energética, y trabaja organizando eventos y talleres culturales dentro y fuera de Barcelona.
