Love, Sugar & Cookie
This is a story about twin sisters. It is about their love for each other and their strong bond. It is also about how they are the same but very different. It is a true story. I used photographs taken over the years to illustrate each and every page.
I hope this book brings to life what I enjoy every day. These two little fluff balls are the love of my life. I can not imagine my world without Sugar and Cookie in it. I knew right away that they were very special dogs. People would surround us in the park to take pictures. They are little celebrities already. Whether I am taking them for a ride in the car or in the stroller or in the lobby of my building, they are alway photographed by people.
The smiles that they put on every person that has the pleasure of meeting them, is what lets me know that these dogs are very special.

I grew up on a farm in rural southern Pennsylvania. I am the oldest of eight children. My dad was an electrician and my mom was a homemaker. I wrote my first short story in sixth grade about animals. My english teacher, Mrs Bakkon, helped me with the grammar. Teachers can be the most wonderful gift to their students. I still think of my teacher and how she helped mold me into the person I am today. That short story was published in a magazine. In high school, I again involved myself in writing as the Sports Editor and Editor In Chief of the school newspaper.
I attended college in Pennsylvania, earning an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the Business School of Widener University. I also attained a BA degree in Economics from Wilkes University. Years later, I again returned to school to earn a Certification in Interior Decorating from Philadelphia University.
After working in sales for a few years, I met my husband and stayed at home to raise our two beautiful and talented children, Michael and Avery.
I am now residing in Miami Beach, Florida with my two furry children, Sugar and Cookie.
We are planning new adventures as we speak, so stay tuned.
