About the Book

Where can your dreams take you? To your true authentic self and more! In this process of recording all of her nighttime dreams, which began shortly after her doctoral graduation, Dr. Gane learns that she has created a fragmented identity unknowingly due to extreme adolescent violence. The dreams that have been submitted to police as evidence are now noted in the journal. Extreme pressure from various authority figures and threats of death led her to repress many of her true experiences that are then later revealed to her through her dreams. From a scientific perspective, dreaming occurs while one is in the Theta brainwave state and there is a great deal of research that suppressed traumatic memories can be accessed while in the Theta brainwave state. Repressing extremely painful memories is actually a very good tool psychologically at the time of the experience because it allows the person to be functioning until they are capable of processing the feelings of extreme pain that would be otherwise unbearable at the time of the experience. This process was done without psychological medication which can cause a disconnect between the Alpha and Theta brain waves making it almost impossible to remember dreams or suppressed trauma from the Theta state, therefore, keeping the individual from true healing. From a spiritual perspective, dreams may be considered to be shamanic journeys into non-ordinary reality to find lost soul parts or messages of healing from the highest self. The Christian Bible states in Job 33:14-16 "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth not, in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he open the ears of men and sealeth their instruction." Mary's experiences discovered include having numerous secret boyfriends and having had secret homebirth babies because of having an extremely obsessive sadistic stalker she calls Hades. Mary had secret babies which set a very different template for easy birthing because of small pregnancies, she only looked pregnant with her last child because she was told to eat 4,000 calories a day by an uninformed midwife when she only gained 20lbs in her earlier pregnancies. When she was only eight, Mary figured out that the man who lived a few houses down the street, Hades, who was stalking her was very violent and he was killing other children in the neighborhood and burying them in his backyard under the woodpile. Mary, however, had already had a near death experience at camp at age seven so she completely believed that her spirituality and the angels would protect her and with her strong spirituality she knew she could see what others didn't see. The physical world was so violent for Mary that she happily went into the metaphysical world at an early age and she is now very accomplished in Shamanism and energy healing. In this process, Mary also has many metaphysical and out-of-body experiences that inform her spirituality. Her dreams have allowed her to become whole and Dr. Gane fully believes that keeping a dream journal is an extremely effective tool for healing whether one is coming from a scientific or spiritual perspective. Writing down her daily dreams has allowed Dr. Gane to recover repressed trauma in a more gentle form through symbols at first. The dream symbols which seemed meaningless and bizarre at first glance created a certain emotion and feeling that later connected to the actual memory of the traumatic event. Some dreams took Mary a few years to remember the actual traumatic event that was presented in a symbolic form so it was very important to write down the dreams in great detail over time and to then repeatedly review the dream and dream symbol meanings online. Overall, keeping a dream journal has allowed Dr. Gane to end the unknown patterns and cycles from her unconscious that have been affecting her life from childhood so that she can now create a more healthy and holistic lif
About the Author: Mary Ellen Gane is a shamanic energy healer and classically trained social theorist. She is a great-granddaughter of Thomas Francis Blossom and Lord Edward Fitz Randolph of Sutton and Chesterfield. She has an English royal bloodline from both her mother and father as well as a Scottish royal bloodline from her mother. Dr. Gane holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Anthropology. She completed her doctoral dissertation on Housing First public policy in the theoretical framework of symbolic interactionism with Weberian informed methodologies. Dr. Gane found in her dissertation work that spirituality or the meanings that one attributed to their life were key factors in the healing process. Also, before beginning her dissertation, at age 28, Dr. Gane had an out-of-body near death experience that drastically changed her perspective. In reflection, Dr. Gane feels that most of her secondary education was not beneficial, except for the four semesters of pottery throwing she took in which she showed extreme proficiency and could have produced an entire dinnerware set by the end of high school if she had a more holistic and self-directed education. Luckily she was able to get a holistic education that actually helped her to understand how reality really works from the older men she dated and through documentaries such as "What the Bleep," "The Secret," and "The Living Matrix." These documentaries provide evidence for the importance of understanding Quantum Physics and this information is taught at prestigious, highly expensive secondary schools such as the Hill School, where her high school boyfriend attended. The science behind Quantum Physics Theory completely supports concepts of telekinesis, astral travel, reincarnation, psychic abilities, energy healing, spiritual healing, near death experiences and out-of-body experiences which has extreme implications for the field of Psychology as well as other related fields. Dr. Gane is deeply committed to teaching children and young adults about metaphysical reality and spirituality with the current evidence from Quantum Physics Theory. She believes these skill sets offer great guidance and protection regardless of the environment because these skills are found within consciousness, which is free of cost and available to all!
