About the Book

When Jesus comes back He is going to institute a new system of Holy days. I know that Yom Kippur will be celebrated by Christians & Sukkoth or the Feast of Tabernacles. Zechariah chpt 14 says that Christians & all the nations of the world that are left after the S. Coming will celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Chpt 14 is a small summary of what happened in the last 2000 yrs until the S. Coming. It says that the nations will attack Jerusalem Zech 14:1,2, that happend in 70 Ad+/- then Zech 14:3 says God will go out & fight against those nations. You would think that God attacked the Gentile nations in a single year or single time, but it took 2000 yrs of destroying the nations as a single battle. The last 2000 yr Tribulation or wars is God's response to the destruction of Jerusalem. Zech 14:4-5 talks about an earthquake on the Mt. of Olives that will cleave the nation of Israel in two, but this is actually a spiritual earthquake & not physical, this is also confirmed when Zech 14:8 says living waters will flow from Jerusalem to the rest of the world. This is not H2o but spiritual water or the gospel of Jesus Christ will flow out of Jerusalem. Also the Lord says that the day will never end in Jerusalem- that they will always have light- no night in Zech 14:6,7. What this means is that Jesus will always be in Jerusalem & will shine a spiritual light on the earth from Israel. In Zech 13:1 it says 13:1 " In that day {S.Coming} there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David & to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin & for uncleanness" This fountain is the blood of Jesus Christ & confession of sins at the S. Coming- in that day. Also God says that He will kill 2/3 of the Jews & 1/3 shall be saved. ( Zech 13:9) The Gentiles it is 2/3 saved & 1/3 destroyed ( Rev 9:15,18) That means the Jews are much purer then the Gentiles or the Angels whom only 1/3 were destroyed. Concerning the Feast of Tabernacles- God says any nation that does not send representatives to Jerusalem will be destroyed. Zech 14: 16" And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, & to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17: & it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, even upon them shalll be no rain. 18: And if the family of Egypt go not up, & come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of Tabernacles." 12: & this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, & their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth." 19: This shall be the punishment of Egypt, & the punishment of all that come not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles." I dont know why the Christian church has not instituted the Feast of Tabernacles as part of the Holy days, but Jesus will institute it when He returns. What is the Feast of Tabernacles? It is Thanksgiving, so they already celebrate it in the U.S.A. and Canada. Zechariah also says that Jesus Christ is equal to God the Father. & that even though the Church calls God the Trinity- at the S. Coming He will be called "One", for Jesus, God the Father & the Holy Spirit are One, and we are all One with them as Christians. Zech 14:9" And the Lord shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, & His name One." John 17:22" And the glory which thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are One: "Lk 24:47" And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." Jesus is the only one who can hold the three offices- King, Prophet and HighPriest.
