We all face trials or obstacles in our lives. How can we prepare for what we don't expect?
We all have different stories and different journeys, but the answer is always the same: God. This is a story of victory in facing challenges, obstacles, and setbacks. It starts on the day of my diagnosis. After Steve and I prayed that day, I asked God, "What do you want me to do with this?" I wasn't afraid of dying. I knew that God would be able to use this, use me, somehow to make a bigger difference. Then He answered, "Do what you know to do." That would be-to write.
I journaled each day about my experiences, how I felt, and how I managed it all. My goal is that you, the reader, would be encouraged and strengthened, not by just hearing my story and walking through it with me, but by the reality of God in the midst of all of it. His Word, His grace, His love, and His power to help you overcome whatever you are going through.
In Look Up and Kiss the Rain, you will discover:
- God never wastes a hurt. He will give you a purpose and strength in the journey.
- Personal pain can be unbearable, but God's grace is immeasurable.
- It's not about the details of the problem, it's about the God of the solution.
- God will make Himself known, direct your steps, and lead you through the process.
- You are not a victim, but a victor!
Here's my journey, be encouraged in it.
