About the Author: Born and raised in Aba, Nigeria, Dandy Ahaoma Ahuruonye has spent most of his adult life in Europe. He graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland and went on to work as a manager for Marks & Spencer, as well as LeasePlan Ireland. He has written several books over the years, including a technical work on footwear design, The Shoemaker: Principles and Guide for Professionals, and a host of children's books, including Groccoli and Waka. His first widely released publication is his Nigerian novel, Long Search for Greener Pastures. Ahuruonye currently lives in Dublin with his wife and their two daughters.
