About the Author: Valerie Renée is a retired member of the United States Air Force, where she served honorably for twenty years. Born in Frederick, Maryland, she was raised as the only girl of five children and learned to be fierce, fearless, and quick to embrace the most challenging of environments. She has always enjoyed creating worlds, making up stories, and being a dreamer. She also volunteers, teaching the principles of money management to couples and families who are members of her local church fellowship.
