About the Book

What if a naïve young woman falls in love with a billionaire playing his game with her?

Ella is a young woman brought up in an atmosphere of respect for her as a person. Graham is a billionaire and the head of a huge corporation, a proven conqueror of hearts, who still has not found his love.

It would seem that nothing binds them together except the relationship of a leader-subordinate. But Ella does not allow Graham to use himself in his usual corporate intrigues. Ella gradually gets to know Graham as a person. It imbued the young woman with sincere feelings for him. She awaits his response to them.

Graham does not expect this and thinks he can end the invisible connection that has appeared between them at his will.

What will prevail - the cold calculation of the lone wolf or the warmth of her love?

There is a first story about a woman who goes through life's trials and learns to stand up for herself in love and business.

If you like stories like The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough or the TV-mini series Return To Eden, you might enjoy this book and the Salamander series.

Do not miss the other Salamander series books:
  • The Independent Woman, book #2
  • The Return Game, book #3
  • The Christmas Gift, book #4
About the Salamander - Series

Ella & Graham: Love and money... Passion and cold mind... A series of novels about a woman who goes through life's trials and learns to stand up for herself in love and business.

Welcome to the world of Misha Quinn!

An excerpt from The Lonely CEO by Misha Quinn, from the author's permission at 03.04.2021:

"... "Ella, Ella! Stop, do not go away!"
Ella stopped, turned slowly toward him. Graham
walked toward her and, as soon as he realized she
wanted to retreat and run away from him again, he
said softly and gently:
"I am sorry... I did not think it would be unpleasant
for you... I am sorry; I will not do it again..."

Ella took a step back from him:
"Mister...."

Before she could continue, Graham interrupted
her by exclaiming:
"Graham! I am Graham to you! Call me by my frst
name, and on a first-name basis, please... In informal
circumstances, of course."

"Okay... I just do not know... I do not know what to
do... It is all wrong somehow... I have to go..."
Despite these words, the girl was still standing in
front of him, looking at him point-blank.

Graham said more calmly:
"I apologize again for... I hugged you. But I will not
apologize for that!"

With these words, he took her firmly by the
shoulders, pulled her slightly toward him, and
kissed her tenderly on her chubby cheek with almost
baby fuzz. Ella could do nothing. She just felt
his breath and the warmth of his body right next
to her, and that was it. She suddenly felt so good
that she calmly but surely took his hands of her
shoulders and, looking him straight in the eyes,
she answered:
"Well, that will do... this time."

The girl suddenly rose on her tiptoes and kissed
him on the cheek, gently running her hand over
his other cheek. She turned around, grabbed her
coat, and walked out into the frosty air into the
hotel courtyard.

Graham remained standing in the hall doorway,
looking after the girl who was fast disappearing
down the snow-covered path. He had expected
nothing of her or himself. However, everything
turned out so well. The evening was a success!"
