About the Book

A Truly Emotion Free Guide to Wealth Management My clients are very successful by anyone's standards. They are usually in business or executives of great companies. They have nice families, and they are good providers in the old fashioned "solid-as-a-rock "meaning of success. Perhaps this describes you, as well, or at least some aspects of your personal success.
About the Author: Ed Moldaver has almost three decades of extensive experience advising and managing the wealth of high net worth families, entrepreneurs, and middle-market business owners. Prior to joining Stifel in December 2015 via its acquisition of Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, Americas, Ed was a Managing Director at Barclays since 2012. Prior to joining Barclays, Ed spent five years as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he continued to expand the Moldaver Group, a wealth management and investment planning team. Ed is the Managing Director/Investments and the founding partner of Moldaver, Lee & Chrebet Group. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Ed managed wealth for clients in Bear Stearns' exclusive Private Client Services division, where he founded the Moldaver Group. There he rose to become a Senior Managing Director in just one year, distinguishing himself as one of the youngest of the group's staff to earn this title. Ed immigrated to the United States in 1978 from Kiev, Ukraine (former Soviet Union). He began his career in finance as a runner in the New York Mercantile commodities pits at the World Trade Center, a job that he held while attending college. Ed was named by Barron's the #1 financial advisor in the state of New Jersey in their annual list of America's Top 1000 Advisors: 2012 State-by-State and featured in their article titled "America's Best." He was also featured in Barron's 2012 list of America's Top 100 Financial Advisors. Ed has been a contributor to and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Fox Business, Crain's New York Business, and dozens of other national publications and media outlets. Ed earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Widener University. He is a board member of the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers(R) (ACPM(R)) at Columbia University and has authored two books, "Logical Investing" and "Logical Investing: The Fluff, The Bark & The Bite." As a community leader, Ed serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Guardian Angels and was awarded the CyberAngel of the Year Internet Safety Award by Mayor Bloomberg. Ed is a staunch supporter of the Police Athletic League in New York City and is a Partner in Education with the New York City Public School System's mentoring program. He enthusiastically volunteers his time as a coach for youth sports in his hometown of Colts Neck, New Jersey, where he lives with his wife, Eve, and their three children.
