About the Author: Sono nato a Torino nel 1942, ed in questa città ho passato la mia infanzia e la mia adolescenza. Nel 1964 ho trovato lavoro in una azienda americana di computers. Cosi ho avuto l'opportunità di far parte dei primi informatici italiani, e l'informatica è stata il tema principale della mia vita lavorativa. Ho compiuto numerosi viaggi e soggiorni all'estero, ho cambiato spesso azienda e città di residenza, terminando la mia carriera lavorativa come dirigente in un'azienda di telefonia cellulare. Risiedo attualmente a Montpellier, nel Sud della Francia, dove collaboro con il Museo dell'Agricoltura e impartisco lezioni private di lingua e cultura italiana. Oltre alla passione per la tecnologia, che mi ha dato di che vivere, ho coltivato fin dall'adolescenza l'interesse per la storia e per la letteratura. Lavorando, mi sono laureato a pieni voti in Lettere Classiche, nell'indirizzo archeologia e storia dell'arte. Durante il tempo libero, nella mia veste di archeologo, ho svolto un'intensa attività di ricerca che mi ha dato lo spunto per scrivere sui giornali locali. Sono entrato cosi' a far parte dell'Ordine dei Giornalisti come pubblicista, e dagli articoli al libro il passo è stato breve. Il libro, "Passeggiate archeologiche in Canavese ed in Valle d'Aosta" ha riscosso un lusinghiero successo editoriale nonostante l'ambito ristretto della sua diffusione. Mi sono cimentato con il genere fantastico ottenendo il primo premio al concorso nazionale "raccontami una fiaba" di Romano Canavese e con la poesia (secondo premio al concorso nazionale di Boves per poesia e immagini). Un mio racconto è stato pubblicato nel libro "storie di Omnitel" ed ho collaborato con un articolo alla pubblicazione "noi di Blu". Il mio primo romanzo, un poliziesco, dal titolo "Il gioco del carnefice" è stato pubblicato nella collana "Scrittori piemontesi" ad opera della casa editrice Baima e Ronchetti di Castellamonte.
