About the Book

Molly only wanted to spend a quiet summer vacation after a difficult first year at her new middle school. The dynamics were much different here. Her friends were close, but little did she know that her enemies were closer. She had something they wanted...a little brother with special talents. One day, while exploring the local caves of Pacific, she connects with mysterious beings who have been hidden from mankind for centuries. Through them, she discovers clues to his recent and enigmatic disappearance as she desperately tried to locate him. Is she too late? Along the way, she in suddenly launched on an incredible journey of local myth, magic, and monsters.
About the Author: Edward Cieslak-Moye is the second child of three whose parents are originally from the St. Louis and Pacific, Missouri areas. He grew up in Central Florida and spent time overseas studying, working, and living in France and South Korea. As a child, he enjoyed living in an imaginary world filled with mythical & magical creatures and often wondered if there were any truth embedded in those ancient tales. His early academic years as a child were difficult. After having failed the fourth grade, one day he overheard a counselor tell his parents that..."Eddie will never amount to anything other than an early death or prison." He was often encouraged by his mother to make use of his active imagination. In her eyes, it was something that made him unique! She always believed in him, never forced him to conform, and cheered him on as he chased his dreams--even the absurd ones! Today, Edward is a certified K-12 high school teacher and a university professor of French and Second Language Education in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds an A.A. degree in Computer Animation, a B.A. in French, an M.A. in French & Applied Linguistics, and is currently completing his PhD. in Education. His secret passion in the fields of parapsychology and cryptozoology inspired his drive toward becoming an author with the hopes of awakening creative and imaginative paths in his students' lives. Edward never takes life too seriously. Writing and creating feed the many Muses he tries to channel in his pursuit to live & love. He still enjoys hanging out with old childhood friends from time to time. Whether swimming with mermaids at the beach, hiking to 70s/80s music with Bigfoot in the mountains, or dancing alone with elementals nearby, he lives by ONE motto... "Never close the book on the magic in your life!"
