ABOUT THE TRANSLATOR
Roy Mayfield has been involved in Bible translation for over 30 years in the Philippines as the translator of a tribal language New Testament, and as a translation consultant for many other translation projects. His other background credentials for this publication include a BA in Biblical literature from Biola University, graduate studies in linguistics at the University of North Dakota and Oklahoma under the auspices of the Summer Institute of Linguistics, and at Indiana University.
