An exclusive magazine for the residents of the Principality of Monaco.Since the very first edition, our most sincere goal was to bring the Principality closer to people. The Monaco Residents' Magazine is focusing on some of the most inspiring stories and remarkable achievements of local residents and Monegasque nationals. The articles introduce a great variety of motivational stories, ranging from the Monegasque billionaires to the employees and the entrepreneurs of the Principality. All those who make this breathtaking place unique by contributing to the local community in their own fields.Letter from the Editor: Dear Reader,
After having an exceptionally hot summer here in the Principality of Monaco, I am delighted to present the Autumn edition of the Living in Monaco magazine.
In this issue, we decided to dive inside the recently discovered Renaissance artworks in the Prince's Palace of Monaco. Also, we are delighted to present to you one of the oldest clubs in Monaco, the Monaco Aero Club. Very few people know that Monaco has played a significant role in Europe's aviation history. In the early 1900s the main port, Port Hercules, was solely used to test airplanes and car engines. Driven by our fascination, we decided to share with our readers some never seen photos from this historically rich period.
During the summer we successfully hosted another Monaco Residents' Meeting where more than 70 residents and special guests joined us. To summarise it, it was an exceptional night and atmosphere for renewing and building new relationships among like-minded people, thanks to our sponsors, Omère Longevity Institute, Maison Noir, and Richmont Monaco.
In the current edition, I also decided to feature a friend of mine, Paul Cameron, who builds breathtaking tree houses both for children and adults. What I truly admire in Paul is that his mission is to bring back the imagination and joyfulness to our children and to offer them tools to maintain good mental health in difficult periods such as lockdowns, by simply moving them out from their Playstations to active games.
Finally, a special thanks goes to Juan Dávila y Verdin, our long-term contributor, as well as to our wonderful editor Dodo Newman who always helped us to get the job done since the very first edition of the magazine.
I hope you will find lots of inspiring moments while reading this Autumn edition. And as always, I wish you all the best, good health, and success.
With sincere regards,
Zsolt Szemerszky
Chief Editor
