It provides state-of-the-art theory and cutting-edge practices to help you design, prepare, and deliver effective virtual events of all kinds.
Through this engaging presentation, authors Judith Tavanyar and Fredrik Fogelberg bring considerable experience in areas that include corporate training, team building, group dynamics, and virtual facilitation and coaching. Practising what they preach when it comes to facilitating virtual sessions about which people can really get excited, they inject playfulness and passion into their discussion of this very timely subject.
The discussion is wide-ranging, covering everything from which technology to choose and why it's best, to assigning a producer for technical support, to designing events that accommodate the needs of different audiences in different contexts and developing your facilitation style. The book also uniquely focuses on the much-overlooked topic of cross-cultural aspects of facilitation-making it relevant for readers from any culture.
