About the Book

HOUSE IN THE TREE is a romantic, touching story, filled with details about the love of two young teenagers who were first cousins. Cupid, seeing those two young cousins, each one more beautiful than the other, decided to play a good-natured game. He took his bow and arrow and aimed at the heart of one and the other. And he shot them to see what would happen. One day, when he saw the two cousins, who were not dating, he shot them again. Well, if it worked with the boy's mother and father, it would work with their son and cousin Luiza. It was only a matter of time for love between two cousins to happen, and confusion to ensue. But Cupid wanted for the two cousins that a happy love would happen. Since every good story has a beginning, middle and end, let's go back in time to find out what happened before. The story began with the meeting of the surfer Nestor Quaresma with the beautiful Hanna, a Lyonnais model from Lyon, France, who had gone to "Mar Verde do Norte" because she had been told in France that Brazil was a land of wild Indians. But instead of finding Indians, Hanna found a surfer running on the deserted beach of Mar Verde do Norte. Since they didn't find any Indians, that surfer was to be photographed with the beautiful Lyonnais model. No one counted on Cupid's cunning, who arrowed the heart of the beautiful Lioness model. The model's team seeing the surfer's manly beauty, nicknamed the surfer "Adonis", in a reference to the legend of the Greek myth of manly beauty that enchanted Venus (the Aphrodite of the Greeks), since he had enchanted the beautiful model. In love, she decides to stay in Mar Verde in the North with her "Adonis" to teach him to speak French, before taking him with her to Lyon. The beautiful Lioness took the young "Tupiniquim" to live with her in Lyon. But all she had to do was set foot in Lyon for her to lose her peace of mind and have to go back to work on the Christian Dior fashion shows, forcing her to leave her "Adonis" with her parents for two weeks. By the time she returned home, her Adonis had returned to the Green Sea of the North.Desperate for love, she returned to the North Green Sea, but her Adonis would not return with her to Lyon. And she returned alone to Lyon. But days later she found out that she was pregnant. She warned him about her pregnancy and sent the documents to marry him in Mar Verde do Norte.A romantic, but at the same time dramatic narrative. The story of that couple, involving the commoner and the rich Lyoness is shamelessly captivating and intense. An incredibly passionate romance from beginning, middle and end. Never before had there been a wedding in Rio das Ostras with so many guests and journalists, reporting on the marriage of the commoner and the rich Lyoness. Married and pregnant, Hanna gave up her modeling career, and stayed in Mar Verde do Norte, where she had her son Tonico, and the beautiful Lyonnaise never again left her "Adonis" and her son.Tonico grew up. From an early age he wanted a tree house. And to please his son, the boy's father built a tree house for his son. It was there that the boy spent most of his time, when he was not studying or working with his mother at the clothing store in downtown Rio das Ostras. When Luiza turned 15, at her debutante ball, Luiza took the microphone and announced that she was dating Tonico, infuriating Hanna, Tonicova's mother and cousin. To keep her son away from that flirtation, Hanna took her son with her to Lyon, in France, and began kidnapping her son, certain to keep him away from Luiza's clutches.Read "Little House in the Tree" and find out what cunning Tonico had to do to get his mother to return with him to the Green Sea of the North. A romantic and touching book, with an impressive rhythm of events that impresses and thrills, so many are the fillings of details that will hold the reader's attention, to the point that he will ignore whoever is on his side. I hope you like this story.
