We have been at war with a tenacious adversary since the beginning of time. In her new book, Lion of Judah, Roar in Me, Nandilyn Williams equips readers with a roar that will send the opponent running scared.
"When a lion roars terror invades the jungle and everything or everyone who hears its sound becomes petrified," Williams writes.
She points out each person needs the strength, courage, confidence and appetite found in the lion that rules the jungle. In the first four chapters, she provides plenty of scriptures and a prayer at the end to help strengthen and prepare each reader.
Williams encourages, "Our responsibility as believers is to declare the word of God even when we do not feel it. We have no choice but to roar the word of God through sleepless nights, stressful work hours, painful moments with backbiting church members, cheating spouses, rebellious children, and all the other mad issues of life. Victory is for every believer who dares to declare the word of God and continue the declarations indefinitely, even after the promise is manifested."
In the final three chapters, she reminds readers of the Lion of Judah, that it's time to roar, and what really matters in life. "As brave lions with the word of God on our lips being spoken with strength and confidence, there is nothing we cannot do," she writes.
"Decide today to be all that God has called you to be," she says. "Never stopping until you hear Him say, 'Well done, my fearless and obedient servant.' "
Readers will not only come away ready for battle, but ready to win. One needs only to hear their deafening roar to believe it.
