About the Author: Clevon Spencer was raised in Long Beach, California. He joined the US Marines, after graduating high school at Canyon in Moreno Valley and boot camp, he married his long-time girlfriend Tifinie Pursley. After serving four years, he was honorably discharged as an E-5 sergeant, and Spencer began work as a diesel mechanic.
While working as a mechanic, Spencer began to feel like his life had plateaued, and even though he loved his family and the bills were paid, he felt like something was missing. This sent him spiraling into a yearlong breakdown. But God brought him out again, revealing to Spencer the importance of knowing and living out spiritual truth if he wanted to experience peace and fulfillment in his life.
In an interview Spencer once said, "In my dark time I ask God to give me something I can understand, and this book Life Is Simple, If You Think About It is a result of that request.
