Thousands of years ago, a desperate sorceress was forced to create a portal.
It was portal between two worlds- the world of mortals, and the world ruled over by Zeus.
Many creatures passed through its gates, and those creatures became the fuel of legends...
But it must never, ever be opened again, for its re-emergence could spell the end of many.
Centuries ago, the Fisher family passed through this very portal. They soon occupied a swamp, as was the tradition of all water sprites, and grew rich stealing human souls. Amalie, the youngest of the Fishers, can only listen to the stories her parents tell her about the world of her ancestors. Her curiosity often leads to disaster, but nonetheless she is envied by her brothers. Amalie is more powerful than most. She is so powerful, in fact, that it scares her.
Hundreds of years still later, a scientist by the name of Evangeline Cross sits at the edge of a major breakthrough. She has found a portal, deep within the Atlantic Ocean... and she plans to go check it out. She has no idea that her every move is being watched by a strange and elusive king. Nor does she have any idea that there are spies amongst her most trusted, or that her entire life (or at least, as much of it as she even remembers) has been orchestrated and controlled by other worldly forces...
The other dimension turns out a lot different (and a lot more bizarre) than anyone could have imaged. People farm crystals, ride seven-winged dragons, and try their best to avoid getting eaten by harpies or possessed by ghosts! This new world is ruled by Zeus, but it's a lot different than the legends described it. It gets even more different when aliens decide to interfere- aliens with strange, spinning spaceships, in the shape of miniature Saturns!
Soon, Earth gets bombarded by a large variety of admittedly unpleasant creatures. All seems to be lost, until newfound allies arrive... But their help isn't really help, and they have a separate agenda- an agenda forged from the events of a past only Zeus knows about. And he lied about them for a reason.
Their goals?
Get revenge from Zeus, recruit Amalie Fisher, and defeat the Rebels of Atlantis.
And, most importantly, reclaim ALL that was once theirs...
